Short circuiting and earthing equipment for HV lines up to 400 kV

Equipment consists of :

● 3 Screw type clamps type PC 560/C :
- made by light alloy tested for high intensity current.
- Clamping capacity : Conductors 5 to 60 mm diameter
- Suitable for use on oxided conductors.
- Bayonet tang with flexible rubber guide-bell for fastening and unfastening by “B” attack fitted onto the insulating rod.

● 3 Extraflexible electrolytic copper cables, covered by transparent PVC sheath, for the connection between the PC560/C clamps and the MT 33 clamps.
- Section 50/70/95/120/150 mm², length to be specified, completed at the extremities of tinned copper lugs, and reinforced by transparent heat-shrink sheath.

● 3 Ground clamps made by press forged brass type MT33 tested for high intensity current.
- Clamping capacity : round conductors and/or bars up to 33 mm

● Metallic carrying case.

● Insulating fiberglass tube made by synthetic resin reinforced by fiberglass, certified in conformity with IEC 61235.
In 2 or 3 elements of 1,5 to 2 m length completed of :
- Hand guard and lower insulating cap at base part.
- Aluminium quick couplers with nylon-fiberglass ring nut.
- “B” attack for maneuvering the PC560/C clamps.

● Heavy fabric bag for the insulating rod.
